1. The supplier

“Rawh Foods”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to K2026530858 (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa and trading as Rawh Foods through this website.

Our full supplier details, including the registration number and contact details, are set out under Supplier details at the foot of this page.

Rawh Foods is not registered for VAT. No VAT is charged on your order and no VAT amount is shown or added to the prices on this website. If we become VAT registered, these terms and the displayed prices will be updated before any VAT is charged.

2. Who may use the store

You may browse the website freely. To submit an order request, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement, or act with the assistance of a parent, guardian or authorised representative.

You must give accurate contact and delivery information and must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent requests or infringe another person’s rights.

3. Products and food information

We aim to describe every product accurately, including its name, net quantity, price and main characteristics. Website colours and images may vary slightly because of screens, packaging updates and the natural variation of food, but the delivered product must materially correspond with its description.

Before a sale, ingredients, allergens, storage directions, origin, date marking, batch details and manufacturer or packer information must be available on the sealed product label and will be provided for review on request. Recipes can change. If you have an allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement, request and check the current label before accepting the final quotation and check the delivered label before consumption.

Statements about nutrition, origin or product qualities are informational and must not be understood as medical advice. We will correct any material product-description error promptly.

4. Order requests and contract formation

1. You choose products and submit an order request. The product amount displayed at this stage is a subtotal.
2. The request is non-binding. An automated reference or “pending” status only confirms that we received your request; it does not reserve stock and is not acceptance of an order.
3. We check stock, the delivery address and current product information, then send you the delivery fee, delivery estimate, final total and payment instructions in writing.
4. A sale is concluded only when you expressly accept that final written quotation and we confirm acceptance. If payment is required first, our confirmation may be conditional on cleared payment.

You may review and correct your cart and form before submitting. You may withdraw a pending request at any time before a sale is concluded. We may decline a request for legitimate reasons such as unavailable stock, an unsupported delivery address, suspected fraud or an obvious error, and will explain the outcome.

5. Prices, errors and payment

Prices are displayed in South African rand. Before a sale is concluded, the final quotation will state the product price, delivery cost, taxes and every other charge. No VAT is added, because Rawh Foods is not VAT registered. We will not require you to pay more than the accepted final total.

If a displayed price contains an inadvertent and obvious error, we may correct it before accepting the order and give you the choice to accept the corrected quotation or withdraw. This does not limit rights relating to displayed prices under the Consumer Protection Act.

No payment is taken on this website. Payment is arranged after you accept the final quotation, by electronic funds transfer before dispatch, by card on delivery, or in cash on delivery. The quotation will state which of these are available for your order, the amount and when payment is due. Banking details are never sent in an automated message; we provide them personally once you choose electronic funds transfer. Never send card numbers, PINs, passwords or one-time passwords through WhatsApp or email. Contact us using independently verified details if payment instructions unexpectedly change.

6. Delivery

R20 local delivery in Paarl and Wellington. Courier delivery to other areas is quoted before payment. Orders of R500 or more qualify for free delivery nationwide. You choose your delivery area in the cart, and the cost that follows is shown before you submit an order request. Where courier delivery is quoted rather than charged, the final quotation will identify the eligible delivery area, address, the delivery fee and the estimated dispatch or delivery period. Unless a different period is expressly agreed, an accepted electronic order will be executed within 30 days. Products remain at our risk until you or your authorised recipient accepts delivery, subject to applicable law.

7. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Everyday food delivered to a home, residence or workplace is generally excluded from the seven-day no-reason cooling-off right in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. A cooling-off right may nevertheless apply where a transaction resulted from direct marketing or another law grants one.

A “no change-of-mind return” rule never removes your rights when products are unsafe, defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, expired where sale is prohibited, or not as described. The Consumer Protection Act’s non-excludable quality and safety rights apply. See the Returns and Refund Policy for the notification and remedy process.

8. Confirmation and transaction records

We will provide the accepted quotation or confirmation in a form you can store or reproduce. It will include the supplier details, products, quantities, price, delivery charge, final total, delivery estimate, payment method, reference and applicable policy version.

You may request a copy from hello@rawhfoods.co.za. Records are retained for the periods described in our Privacy Notice and as required by law.

9. Complaints and dispute resolution

Email your complaint, order reference and requested outcome to hello@rawhfoods.co.za. We will acknowledge it and try to resolve it fairly.

If we cannot resolve a consumer-goods complaint, you may approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or another body with jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms prevents you from using a remedy available under the Consumer Protection Act.

10. Liability and non-excludable rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to safe and good-quality goods, product liability, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, personal injury, death or fraud.

Subject to those rights, neither party is liable for an indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was concluded. You remain responsible for following the product label, storage directions and allergy warnings. This clause does not transfer responsibility for an unsafe or defective product to you.

11. Website use and intellectual property

The Rawh Foods name, site copy, design and original media are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the site for personal shopping and may save or print these policies. You may not scrape, republish, sell, reverse engineer or misuse site content except where law permits.

External links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for an external service’s independent terms or privacy practices, but remain responsible for our own choice and use of service providers where law requires.

12. General

South African law governs these terms. If a clause is unlawful or unenforceable, it is limited or removed only to the necessary extent and the remaining terms continue. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver.

We may update these terms prospectively. The version accepted for a confirmed order continues to govern that order unless a legal change must apply. Material changes will be dated and displayed before they take effect.
